It is now officially confirmed that Wrocław will be one of four Polish Host Cities to organize the UEFA EURO 2012™. At 13th May 2009, Michel Platini, the President of European Football Association announced a list of Polish cities, in which UEFA EURO 2012™ meetings will be held. Wrocław was among three other cities appreciated for their efforts towards the organization of this prestigious event.
The city of Wrocław is supporting the development of accommodation base, by means of creating a favourable investment climate. As a result, new hotel investments of different standard are confirmed to be finished by 2012. The table below presents a summary of basic information about hotels. What is important - four of them will be of a 5-star standard and four will meet 4-star standard requirements.
What is also worth pointing out - two 5-star hotels have been recently opened in Wrocław - a legendary Monopol Hotel restored to its splendour and the first boutique hotel in Wrocław - The Granary - La Suite Hotel.
