Conference Venues
The growing number of business meetings and important conferences in Wrocław has stimulated the development of many facilities in the city, offering a wide range of alternatives for business travellers. Most of Wrocław’s conference venues are integrated within different institutions such as universities, theatres or museums. The most famous venue is Hala Ludowa (Centennial Hall) built at the beginning of the 20th Century, which hosts various types of events (fairs, congresses, music and sport performances) and is recognized as a unique architectural achievement in the whole Europe. Many important events have been organized there such as the Eucharistic Congress in 1997, the European Summit of Regions and Cities in 2005 and the 11th International Development Business Forum - Futurallia 2006.
Today, Wrocław works hard to strengthen its reputation as one of Poland’s most dynamic business tourism destinations, developing its accommodation and conference facilities, flight connections and tourist attractions at record speed.
